From time to time I am asked to lead a workshop on a specific topic related to my education, experience, and knowledge that serves our care professionals, families, faith communities, and arts organizations.

Designing Programs for our Elders

We explore in a hands on experience how to design programs for those living with dementia and for elder care communities at large. 90-Minutes in length one will walk away with handouts and a finished program they can implement in their unique setting.

Building a Care Team

You may have a staff assembled, but do you have a team? During our time together we will look at how your staff and work as one unified team building systems of communication, support, and encouragement as you care for our elders. 60-minutes in length this workshop comes with handouts and the option for follow sessions.

Making The Most of Your Groups Visit to our Elders in Long-Term Care.

Many groups from schools, to churches, to community services groups visit our loved ones in long-term care. Often they are there not only for 1:1 visits but also to lead a program. Are you making the most of this time? What type of programing are you offering and could we do more? 90-minutes in length your group will have a basics of dementia and aging training before focusing on what engagement can look like for them as they serve the community.

For the Family and Community at Large

Offer dementia education to your families and the greater community. This 1-hour workshop comes with handouts and covers the basics of dementia, communication, and becoming relational with our loved ones living with cognitive impairment.

Frequently asked questions

Each workshop is $298 plus travel cost if travel is more than 25 miles outside of Milwaukee, WI. Discounted travel costs offered if one or more community within your city works together to book training during the same week.
