This training is best when approached through an interdisciplinary audience. While tailored for the Life Enrichment team, all community staff are welcome to join the sessions.

What We Cover

2-Hours of In-Person Training

Skills and Interests Discovery – Team ASSESSMENT

Module 1

Who is on your Life Enrichment Team? What are your skills, interests, talents you can share with the residents? What do you need to do the work you wish to provide?

Implementing and Sustaining Programs

Module 2

How do you work with the rest of the staff to create quality programming? How do you communicate with them your needs and how you wish for them to support the success of your program? How do you not burn out or hit creative and programming blocks?

Basics of Progam Development for Resident Directed Calendars

Module 3

How do you explore the purpose and needs of your residents and turn it into an offering on a 1:1 and/or group level? How do you continue to assess the needs of each resident? What does a Resident Directed calendar look mean?

Frequently asked questions

2-hour training is $750 plus travel cost if travel is more than 25 miles outside of Milwaukee, WI. Discounted travel costs offered if one or more community within your city works together to book training during the same week.

Cost includes:

  • In-Person training on the day(s) scheduled.
  • Student Handbook
  • Certification upon completion
  • 2-Week follow up call with leadership team
  • (Optional for Connect + Create Members) LET Leadership Coaching – Best for new LET Managers or those looking to transform the program.

Yes, you only need to cover any travel costs incurred for the training.

No, but you will have the tools you need to enhance your current calendar. We will have time for some brainstorming, but no program or calendar will be developed during our training. If you are a Connect + Create member, we do offer program development throughout our monthly coaching and educational sessions.
