Helping your Life Enrichment team provide quality programming that is both suited for the community at large and for the unique purpose of each resident.
This training is best when approached through an interdisciplinary audience. While tailored for the Life Enrichment team, all community staff are welcome to join the sessions.
What We Cover
2-Hours of In-Person Training

Skills and Interests Discovery – Team ASSESSMENT
Module 1
Who is on your Life Enrichment Team? What are your skills, interests, talents you can share with the residents? What do you need to do the work you wish to provide?
Implementing and Sustaining Programs
Module 2
How do you work with the rest of the staff to create quality programming? How do you communicate with them your needs and how you wish for them to support the success of your program? How do you not burn out or hit creative and programming blocks?


Basics of Progam Development for Resident Directed Calendars
Module 3
How do you explore the purpose and needs of your residents and turn it into an offering on a 1:1 and/or group level? How do you continue to assess the needs of each resident? What does a Resident Directed calendar look mean?
